The Ride For Kids is a national Charity ride that happens in almost all states. It raises money for the pediatric Brain Tumor foundations. It is a great full day event starting with the ride and then ending with a ceremony where you get to meet several of the children from the area that the foundations supports and helped. I started doing this ride in Hudson Valley a few years ago just paying the $35 entry fee and enjoying the ride but after the first year it was so moving to spend time with the kids that I started fund raising for it. this year I raised $1325.00 . This years ride in Hudson Valley is August 2, 2009. Come join us if you are in the area or check the website for a ride in your local area.
